Duplex Ball Valves are made from duplex stainless steel, which holds roughly 22–25% chromium, 5–7% nickel, 3–4% molybdenum, and regulated nitrogen. This blend produces a well-balanced ferritic-austenitic microstructure that delivers exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. From a mechanical standpoint, duplex steel provides high tensile and yield strength, notable fatigue resistance, and superb impact toughness.
